At Tillis Jewelry, our story begins with a love for craft, community, and connection. Rick Tillis entered the jewelry industry in 1985 as an apprentice, where he discovered not only a talent for intricate repair work but a passion for helping people celebrate life’s most meaningful moments. What started as a small jewelry repair business quickly evolved into custom design—creating pieces like sapphire-eyed Blue Marlin bracelets and engagement rings uniquely engraved with initials. In 2010, Rick and his wife Terry—an experienced Graduate Gemologist from the Gemological Institute of America—opened their first store on the historic Lewisburg Town Square. As the business grew, they opened a second location in Columbia, Tennessee, eventually consolidating operations there in 2023 to better serve their loyal and growing clientele.

Our mission has always been simple: one store, one focus—you. At our welcoming showroom on West 7th Street in downtown Columbia, we combine timeless quality with personal service. With Terry’s expertise in diamonds and gemstones and two in-house bench jewelers offering full-service repairs, appraisals, remounts, and design consultations, our team is equipped to handle just about anything—always with care, transparency, and attention to detail.
